Medicine and Labs in Palestine

 

On 17 January 2008, the Institute of Law (IoL) at BZU organized a lecture on "Forensic Medicine and Labs in Palestine" in which Representatives of the Ministry of Justice, General Attorney Office, specialists in forensic medicine and labs, Al-Quds and An-Najah Universities, Doctors' Syndicate, Ministries of Health and Interior and civil society organizations.

The staff of the Judicial Independence and Human Integrity Initiative presented the problems encountered by forensic medicine and labs Palestine and methods for improvement. The participants made suggestions in this regard and called for adoption of legislation that secures integrity, neutrality and removes ambiguity in the existing legal system.

This event is part of the activities of the Integrity Project, implemented by IoL in cooperation with University of Windsor in Canada.
